Sanlight EVO 5-120 LED, 320W
The Sanlight EVO 5-120, 320W is one of the most powerful LEDs from Sanlight's new EVO series. With the EVO series, Sanlight has combined years of experience with current research results to develop a range of high-quality LEDs for growers with the highest demands. The EVO series is characterized by flexibility, durability and efficiency. The Sanlight EVO 5-120 LED is marked with the protection class IP 65. This means that the LED is protected against dust ingress and water jets from any angle.
Of course, the usual strengths of a Sanlight LED were not forgotten. Thus, the EVO 5-120 LED is also passively cooled and therefore absolutely silent even in continuous operation. The familiar secondary optics are used in a revised version. This makes it possible to achieve an enormous depth effect with uniform surface illumination. In addition, the secondary optics protect the sensitive LED chips from damage and can be easily cleaned.

To control the enormous power of the EVO 5-120, Sanlight has developed a separately available matching magnetic dimmer. By using the dimmer, the light intensity can be controlled in 4 steps. In addition, the soft-start function can be activated, which simulates a natural sunrise. We recommend to use the Sanlight EVO 5-120 only in combination with a dimmer due to the extreme light intensity to prevent burns on young plants. In addition, the energy consumption can be reduced by using the dimmer.
Since the Sanlight EVO 5-120 is supplied without a cable, a suitable Sanlight power plug is required for operation. To operate several EVO LEDs with one power plug, the usual Sanlight accessories, such as the Sanlight distribution block and the Sanlight extension cable, can be used.
To ensure the desired light intensity and longevity, Sanlight uses only the highest quality branded products for the LED chips. The red and far-red OSRAM High Power LEDs used provide particularly intense light. They are complemented by white LED chips from Seoul Semiconductor, which are manufactured using the patented WICOP technology. This results in particularly efficient, long-lasting LED chips.
For which surface is the Sanlight EVO 5 suitable?
Sanlight has developed the EVO 5-120 LED for open areas and large rooms and does not recommend the EVO 5-120 for use in closed grow boxes. Due to the extremely high light intensity when using two EVO 5-120 LEDs for 120 x 120cm should be worked under optimal climatic conditions and with additional CO2 supply to exploit the full potential of the LEDs. The use of a suitable Sanlight magnetic dimmer is highly recommended due to the high power. For the suspension of the LED we recommend Ratchet Hangers.
