Trimbag is a great tool that can be used by many outdoor growers.
Although there are a few physical requirements:
- The user must be able to lift up to 2.5 kg at head height, with enough strength to properly operate this tool.
- User must be able to firmly grasp loops and handles.
- Works best when standing.
Trimbag can take some time to gain finesse. We recommend practicing the movements with something soft, like the tote bag or packing peanuts! Now make a few turns, listen and feel a full rotation around the perimeter of the main chamber.
This will build your confidence and give you some practice. Now you can add your precious flowers and use Trimbag's time-saving techniques.
If it doesn't work right, keep these things in mind and correct them:
- Your product may not be dry enough.
* Proper dryness is critical. Dry until the outer leaves of the flower come off easily when gently rubbed.
- You may have put too much of the product in the large chamber for it to move freely. Remove some of it and repeat the motion. Remember that the product must have enough room to move for a rubbing cut to occur.
- The product may not be cut small enough.
- Rotate and tumble the product in the bag faster or more aggressively.
Care:
- Zippers need to be lubricated or cleaned if opening is difficult.
- Regularly check seams in the main chamber for fraying. Trim loose threads as needed.
